We are nearing the end of our series through the Armor of God on Sunday mornings. It has been such a great experience for me personally going through Ephesians 6 and learning how to explain such an important aspect of our walks as believers to children. These are snaps from our bit on what the mind of someone looks like that is using the armor of God.

We tried to make the mind of the person using the armor to reflect joy and peace.

The children loved this part. They asked if they could stay!

This was...yes you guessed it the mind of the person not using the armor. We tried to make this room dark and cluttered with gross things. We even had a radio blaring static to reflect the annoyance of troublesome thoughts. It was so cool and the kids got it which to a Children's Ministry worker is a dream come true!

These were sad and angry expressions that reflected the kinds of thoughts people can have in thier minds without the armor of God. These were painted with loving hands by one of our Mum's by day and artists by night Vera. It was so awesome to work together as a team to make this such a sucesss.
